Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Üppward, a limited-alpha service operated by Arca Futura LLC (“Arca Futura,” “Üppward,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using Üppward, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled.
1. Experimental service
Üppward is experimental software. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, changed, or removed. Keep your own copy of information you cannot afford to lose.
2. What the service does
Üppward helps you organize career transitions, professional opportunities, pursuits, and related workflows. It is not an employer, recruiter, placement agency, lawyer, or financial adviser, and it does not guarantee employment, interviews, admission, funding, a match, or any particular outcome.
3. Your decisions and AI output
AI-assisted information may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. Verify important facts—such as deadlines, eligibility, compensation, legal requirements, and third-party information—against authoritative sources. You are responsible for your professional decisions and for reviewing and submitting any application or communication. Üppward does not submit applications or messages for you.
4. Eligibility and account security
You must be at least 18 years old to use the limited alpha. Provide reasonably accurate account information, do not impersonate another person, and take reasonable steps to protect your sign-in credentials and account.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Arca Futura permission to host, copy, process, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, support, maintain, and secure Üppward and its features, as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to backup, security, and legal-retention needs. Submitting content does not transfer its ownership to Arca Futura.
6. Feedback
If you send product feedback or suggestions, Arca Futura may use them to develop and improve Üppward without payment to you. This does not transfer ownership of career materials or other content you provide.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Üppward to break the law; gain unauthorized access; distribute malicious code; disrupt or overload the service; impersonate others; scrape information contrary to access restrictions; submit content you do not have the right to use; or facilitate fraud or unlawful conduct. Do not upload passwords, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information the service does not require.
8. Third-party services and information
Üppward may connect to third-party services or link to and summarize third-party information. Arca Futura does not control those services or guarantee their accuracy or availability. Review the applicable third-party terms and authoritative source before relying on their information.
9. Üppward ownership and licence
Your content remains yours. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the alpha. They do not transfer ownership of Üppward software, branding, designs, documentation, or technology, which remain with their respective owner or owners.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Üppward at any time. Arca Futura may suspend or end access when reasonably needed to address a security risk, unlawful or abusive activity, a Terms violation, a technical issue, or discontinuation of the alpha. Where practicable, we will give reasonable notice before permanently discontinuing the service.
11. Disclaimers and limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Üppward is provided “as is” and “as available.” Arca Futura does not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service or that the service will suit every circumstance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arca Futura will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of Üppward, including lost opportunities or income or reliance on inaccurate output. Arca Futura’s total liability arising from the limited alpha will not exceed CAD $100 or the amount you paid to use it in the preceding three months, whichever is greater. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them and do not remove rights that applicable law does not permit us to waive.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as Üppward develops. We will give notice of material changes where practicable. If we ask you to accept a revised version, your continued use after its effective date is subject to that version.
